ELATERIDARIUM is an internet magazin, which is focused on research of elaters and other beetles from superfamily Elateroidea. You will find there texts about other species of beetles family too.

There are many magazines all over the world studying beetles, but none of them is so closely
specialized, except of the bulletin „Elater“ which was established in 1988 by Wataru Suzuki. In 1997 till 1998 were published by Peter Cate another three issues. Publishing of this bulletin
has ended up because of a lack of other reports.

Elateridarium is not only focused on the actual news abaut work of particular groups or individuals, presentation of research, protecting of species and their biotopes, but also on publishing serious specialized periodicals, which contains local and also international work. Here you will find continuation of some successful topics form bulletin Elater (historic literature, specialists and their publishing, …etc)

Well organized works will be subedited and published in autumn and winter time within one month from their receiving. From April till Septemter the edition is closed, because editors spend their free time outside, where they examine the click beetles.
